Saint Sebastian

As a young girl, one of my childhood obsessions was the plague. I mention this because before even knowing that Saint Sebastian was the patron saint of the plague-stricken, defender against the disease, I had an inexplicable affinity for him. The best explanation that I can offer up is that I died of the plague in a past life, praying to Saint Sebastian along the way.
